Thank you for joining our SWTOR RP community. We hope that you have an enjoyable experience. To make it a fun time for all, there are some guidelines to abide by.

We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind including but not limited to race, ethnicity, religion, gender or gender expression, sexual identity, or any other kind of representation. We also do not tolerate acts of racism, sexual harassment or blackmail, and allegations of any of these acts are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. Political discourse and debate is also prohibited. Acts of this sort can lead to removal and potential ban from the community.

We understand that sometimes there will be personality conflicts and that you won’t like everyone in the community. That is fine. But we do expect that you will treat everyone with respect and dignity. There are many routes to conflict resolution including discussions with a spec head, turning to Junior Officers/Officers, and of course there is the Human Resources Team.

IC/OOC Divide: Do your best to leave IC as IC and OOC as OOC. Because a disciplinary action is taken against your character ICly, it does not mean anyone is out to get you OOCly and vice versa. This goes for IC rivalries as well. Conduct yourself respectfully IC even if you do not get along with someone OOCly – this is how the community will remain safe and inviting for all.

      How to Be Inclusive

The National Museum of African American History & Culture at the Smithsonian has resources available in regard to making better choices for how we interact with and talk to others. Learning about and applying the topics offered can help you not run afoul of our policies. Check out the links here.

      Age Policy

The Anaxes Initiative, as an information content provider, cannot be held accountable for the actions of its members but is committed to removing material deemed inappropriate by the average person in applying contemporary community standards concerning minors. In other words, we do not condone the depiction, description, or representation of materials that are patently offensive and sexually explicit within our public spaces. Upon discovery of this content, the leadership body will reasonably act to remove it. Internet law defines a minor as any person under 17 years of age (47 U.S. Code § 231 (e)(7), located here), but we require our members to be 18 years of age or older.

We will take your application listed age at face value, but if you are under the required age, you will be removed from the guild. Members are expected to curate their experiences, ensuring they do not engage in unwanted, unsolicited, or illegal behaviors with other members. Attempts to ostracize players who do not wish to engage with you, be involved in romantic or erotic role-play, or as retaliatory behavior will be considered harassment and subject to removal from the community.
